Kate Harris named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year finalist

Ernst & Young chose Stanley Consultants CEO Kate Harris as a finalist in its Entrepreneur Of The Year® Mountain West awards. The firm said its contest identifies “transformative entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies who are building a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous world for all.” 

Harris, who has been CEO of Stanley Consultants for six years, has demonstrated building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact. Regional award winners will be announced on June 17, during a special celebration. The winners will be considered by the national judges for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards, which will be presented in November at the annual Strategic Growth Forum®. The Entrepreneur Of The Year® program has recognized more than 11,000 entrepreneurs throughout the U.S. since its inception in 1986, and it has grown to recognize business leaders across 145 cities in over 60 countries around the world.

Harris, also president and chair of the board of Stanley Consultants, has 30 years of international experience in the construction, engineering and consulting industry. She is accredited as a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and a member of Women Corporate Directors. Harris also serves on the American Council of Engineering Council’s Research Institute board. 

Harris was named the 2022 CEO of the Year by the Environmental Financial Consulting Group. A 2022 acquisition and new service offering were recently recognized with a business achievement award from the Environmental Business Journal.
